How they work

How Every Bali Helicopter Itinerary Is Built

Daylight comes first. Helicopters here fly by day, from sunrise to sunset. The sun rises between about 05:50 and 06:35 and sets between about 18:05 and 18:40. Every plan gives the time you land, and none schedules a flight after sunset. Golden-hour flights lift off 20 to 30 minutes before sunset and end as the sun reaches the horizon.

Landing sites are approved first. Airports and hotel pads are quick to confirm. Private land and island sites need the owner's agreement and the operator's clearance, which can take a few days. Public beaches, temple grounds and national parks are never landing sites. If a site cannot work, you hear it in the first reply and get a fallback; read how landing at a villa or hotel works.

Weight sets the class. Send approximate weights of everyone and the bags. The 4-seat class takes up to 4 guests, the 6-seat class takes up to 6 at about 1.4 times the rate, and 7 or 8 guests fly in two helicopters.

Every plan has a back-up. The pilot decides on weather. A flight stopped by wind, cloud or a volcano alert moves to the next suitable slot, or the part not flown is refunded. The best-time guide compares the months.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a helicopter itinerary in Bali?

A day plan with clock times that builds one or more flights into a full day: breakfast, flight, beach or spa, rest, a second flight, dinner. Each plan lists the flight minutes, the take-off windows, the landing deadline and a line-by-line price table for the whole helicopter.

How much does a helicopter day plan cost in Bali?

From $450 for the family flight. The honeymoon day uses two flights from $500 and $750, the Penida day starts at $1,000 one-way, and the Lombok and Gili day is $2,850 one-way or $3,150 same-day return. Prices are for the whole helicopter.

What time must the last flight land?

Before sunset, which is about 18:05 in June and 18:40 in late December. Our plans land at least an hour earlier on the day trips, and golden-hour flights end at sunset. We do not fly at night.

Can I change a plan or mix two of them?

Yes. Send the plan name and what you want to change: a different pad, an extra flight, wine on the landing, or the boat instead of the helicopter on the way back. We reply the same day with a fixed price.

How do I book an itinerary?

Send the plan, date, guests and hotel area on WhatsApp. We reply with the aircraft, the pad, the route and a fixed price, a deposit holds the slot and payment details come with the quote. Nothing is paid on the website.

Pick a Day Plan, Send the Date

Tell us which plan, the date, how many guests and where you stay. We reply the same day with the pad, the aircraft, the take-off time and a fixed price.
