How Much Does a Helicopter Cost in Bali?
Prices for scenic flights, charter by the hour and island transfers in 2026, and how to compare two quotes.

Every price on this page is for the whole helicopter, up to 4 guests, with pilot and fuel included. Scenic flights start at $450, hourly charter is $2,300 and island transfers are priced by flight time. These are guide prices; the fixed quote for your date arrives on WhatsApp the same day.
One price for the aircraft, so the cost per person falls as the group grows. Rupiah figures use the guide rate shown above.

Demand concentrates in the last hour of daylight, so the flight that ends at sunset is priced above the same minutes at midday. See how golden-hour flights work.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bukit cliffs at sunset | 18 min | $750 | $375 | $190 |

Three things set most of the price: flight minutes (the aircraft is billed by the minute it is running), the aircraft class (a 6-seat helicopter costs about 1.4 times a 4-seat one) and the number of legs (a one-way transfer is billed for the empty flight back).
Smaller factors change the figure by a few hundred dollars: golden-hour demand, landing fees at a hotel or venue, a long drive between the pad and your pick-up place, waiting time, and peak weeks in July, August and over Christmas and New Year. The weather never changes the price: if the pilot cancels, the flight moves or the unflown part is refunded.

Date, number of guests, rough weights, where you are staying and what you want to see or where you want to go.
Up to 4 guests fly in the 4-seat class, up to 6 in the 6-seat class and 7–8 in two helicopters.
The route is measured and priced by flight minutes; transfers include the return positioning.
Flowers, photographer, set-up, car to the pad and standby appear as separate lines you can remove.

From $450 for a 12-minute scenic flight for the whole helicopter, up to 4 guests. A 30-minute Mount Batur flight is $1,150, the 60-minute grand circle $2,300, and hourly charter $2,300. With four guests the 12-minute flight is $115 each.
No. Every price is for the helicopter. One guest or four on the same flight pay the same total, and groups of 5–6 fly in a larger class at about 1.4 times the 4-seat rate.
After dropping you off the helicopter has to fly back empty, so you are paying for both legs of aircraft time. If you plan to return, book it the same day: you pay the same flight time plus standby, from $300 per hour.
The guide prices stay the same through the year. Peak weeks (July–August and Christmas–New Year) and golden-hour slots can add a few hundred dollars, and the quote shows the exact figure.
Fees at airports and approved pads are included in the quote where the operator pays them. Fees charged by a hotel or venue for landing on their site are added at cost and written in the quote before you pay.
Quotes are in US dollars. The rupiah figures here use about Rp 17,850 per US$1 as a guide; the payment details sent with the quote state the amount and the method.
