What we do

What We Do, and What We Don't

We do the work around the flight: choosing the route and the time of day, checking the landing site, pricing the flight minutes, adding extras, confirming the pick-up and talking to you on WhatsApp until you land. The flight itself is flown by the pilot and aircraft of a licensed Indonesian air operator, which decides on the day whether weather and conditions allow it.

We do not sell seats on shared flights, quote per person to hide a high aircraft price, promise a landing before the site is approved, or promise a medical evacuation. We say no when a plan does not work, and offer a version that does.

How We Keep the Numbers Honest

One price for the whole helicopter, with the flight minutes, the pad and what is included written out.
One-way means both legs. We tell you before you pay that the helicopter has to fly back, and offer the return.
Landing only where it is approved. Airports, approved pads and private sites with the owner's agreement. No beaches, temples or national parks.
Weather decisions belong to the pilot. If the flight cannot go, it moves or the unflown part is refunded.
Nothing is paid on this website. Payment details come with a quote.

We plan flights across Bali, from the Bukit peninsula and Seminyak to Ubud, Kintamani, Amed and Lovina, to the islands of Nusa Penida and Lembongan, and across the strait to Lombok and the Gili Islands. Longer expeditions to Komodo and East Java are priced by quote as multi-leg flights.

Is Helicopter Bali the operator of the helicopters?

We plan and book the flight. The aircraft and the pilot belong to a licensed Indonesian air operator. Ask for the operator name and licence number in your quote.

Where are you based?

We work from Bali and answer on WhatsApp every day from 08:00 to 20:00 WITA. Flights start from approved pads near your pick-up area, and the exact pad is in each quote.

Can I speak to someone instead of writing?

WhatsApp is our main channel, and a voice call can follow in the chat when a plan is complicated, such as a landing at a private site or a multi-leg expedition.

Do you fly in the rain or at night?

Passenger flights run by day, between sunrise and sunset, and only in weather the pilot accepts. We reschedule or refund the unflown part when conditions say no.

How do I pay?

Payment details come with the quote, after we confirm the flight and the price. Nothing is charged through this website.
