Honeymoon Helicopter Flight
30 minutes for two over Ubud and the Batur caldera, or a golden-hour coast flight that ends at sunset. Sparkling wine and photographer optional.

One day, two flights. A 07:30 helicopter over the Ubud rice terraces from $500, then a golden-hour flight along the Bukit cliffs from $750 that ends at sunset. Between them sit a villa breakfast, a spa slot, a long rest and dinner. Prices are for the whole helicopter, so for two guests the flights come to $250 and $375 each. Send the date and where you sleep.
The plan assumes you sleep in or near Ubud the night before. The sun is up by 06:35 even in June, and it sets between about 18:05 and 18:40, so both flights are daylight flights and the second one ends at sunset.
Guide prices for the whole helicopter (up to 4 guests), pilot and fuel included. The per-person column splits each line between the two of you.
| Line | Guide price | Each, for 2 | Note |

| Golden-hour flight, 18 min | $750 | $375 | Ends at sunset |

| Bouquet | $60 | $30 | A small one can ride in the cabin |
| Ground photographer at the sunset landing | $250 | $125 | Edited photos delivered later |
| Ground drone filming of the landing | $300 | $150 | Check current drone rules and permits first |
| Clifftop dinner set-up for two | from $450 | from $225 | On approved private land |
| Private car to each pad | from $50 | from $25 | Per trip, priced by area |
| Helicopter hop Ubud to the Bukit | $1,300 | $650 | Optional; replaces the afternoon drive |
| Longer evening flight, 30 min | $1,250 | $625 | Swap for the 18-minute flight |
The core day is the two flights: $500 + $750. With sparkling wine, a bouquet and a photographer it is $500 + $750 + $120 + $60 + $250. Prices come from the price page; two flights on one day are quoted together.
Cloud. Over the hills, cloud forms from late morning, earlier in the wet season. Terraces and gorges are the landscape most likely to disappear, so they take the early slot. The coast keeps its clear horizon into the evening, so the Bukit takes the late one.
Light. At 07:30 the sun is low and sideways to the terraces, which draws every step of the paddies. Most of the Bukit's cliff faces turn toward the afternoon sun, and the sea below goes copper in the last half hour. Reverse the order and you would fly the terraces under flat midday light and the cliffs in a dull morning.
Road. Ubud and Uluwatu are 1.5–2 hours apart by car, a long haul in heavy traffic. Many couples therefore sleep in Ubud and move to a Bukit hotel for the second night, so the evening flight starts a short ride from home; see helicopter from Ubud and helicopter from Uluwatu for the pads and car times.
Rest. Two flights, a spa slot and a dinner are enough for one day. The empty afternoon keeps you fresh for the second flight and covers a delayed morning take-off.
If you stay on the Bukit only, fly both from the same area. The morning flight then starts further from the terraces and the quote shows the longer positioning. The honeymoon day guide covers the same plan with more on where to stay, and the honeymoon flight page lists longer routes.
Replace the morning flight with a clifftop or beach landing and a table for two. The helicopter flies you in before sunset and a car takes you home.
The golden-hour flight is the usual moment to propose or renew vows. The proposal packages use the same flight and add flowers and wine.
Swap the Ubud loop for a half-hour flight over Batur and the Tegalalang terraces. Cloud builds early near the crater, so keep it first.
If you have one day on the Bukit, book just the golden-hour flight and let the rest of the day be slow.
Yes. The usual plan is a 12-minute Ubud flight at 07:30 and a golden-hour flight on the Bukit that ends at sunset. The two are quoted together, with a rest in the middle. Each one is priced as a separate whole-helicopter flight.
The flights are $500 and $750 for the whole helicopter, which is $250 and $375 each for two guests. Sparkling wine, a bouquet and a photographer are add-ons priced on the table above.
Only if the two routes suit it. The Ubud loop is planned from an Ubud-side start, and the coast flight from the Bukit. A single Bukit pad works for a Bukit-only stay, with a longer positioning for the Ubud loop, which the quote spells out.
The pilot decides on the day. We try 09:30, or move the flight to the next suitable day, or refund the part not flown. In the wet season, November to March, mornings are the safer slot. See the best-time guide.
At an approved site, yes: a clifftop, beach or villa lawn where the owner agrees and the operator has cleared the landing. A dinner set-up for two starts from $450. The helicopter must be on the ground before sunset.
Two to four days ahead is enough on a normal date. For July, August and the Christmas to New Year weeks, golden-hour slots go first, so plan ten to fourteen days ahead and add any landing a week ahead.
Tell us the date, where you sleep in Ubud and on the Bukit, and whether you want wine, flowers or a photographer. We reply today with the pads, the take-off times and a fixed price.
