Business Day in Bali by Helicopter: Airport, Ubud, Bukit, Canggu
Four stops in one working day without the road. Land at Ngurah Rai at 08:30, sit in a meeting in Ubud by 10:00, walk a Bukit site at 14:00 and reach Canggu by 16:30, with every flight on the ground well before sunset. The day
Business Day Plan: Four Stops, Three Flights
Times assume an arrival at 08:30 and a dry-season day. Car times use daytime ranges; air times are airborne minutes for one leg, with 15 to 20 minutes at each end for boarding and shutdown.
- Land at Ngurah RaiYour scheduled flight arrives. Our quote names the airport pad, the meeting point and the contact who waits for you. Landing and departure slots at the airport are subject to air traffic control.
- Lift-off to Ubud13–20 min in the air against 60 to 90 minutes by car. The helicopter lands on an approved hotel or venue pad near the meeting. Read the airport to Ubud route for the detail.
- Meeting in UbudThe helicopter waits on the ground at $300 per hour, or flies away and returns at a time you fix. The quote says which.
- Lunch at the venueA venue with its own lawn or pad keeps lunch on site. If not, a car covers the last stretch to the helicopter.
- Lift-off to the Bukit14–20 min across the island against 1.5 to 2 hours by road from Ubud to Uluwatu. The landing is on an approved plot or the nearest pad, with a car for the rest if the plot cannot take a helicopter.
- Site visitWalk the land with the owner and your team. Landing at a plot needs the owner's consent and the operator's clearance, which is listed before you pay.

On this plan the waits add up to about five hours, so priced legs come out close to or below the hourly charter. Road against air
The Three Legs: Road Time Against Air Time
Car times are daytime ranges that move with traffic. Air times are airborne minutes for one leg.

Added up, the three drives take roughly 4 to 5.5 hours. The same three legs take 13–20 min, 14–20 min and 10–15 min in the air. On a short leg such as the airport to Nusa Dua a car is as quick door to door; the helicopter earns its price on long legs and multi-stop days.
Why this order
Why Ubud First, the Site in the Afternoon and Canggu Last
Hills in the morning. Cloud builds over the hills from late morning, and the Ubud leg is the one that crosses them. Landing in Ubud by 09:40 keeps the valley meeting clear of low cloud and showers, which come later in the wet season from November to March.
The site visit in the early afternoon. A plot or a building site needs good light and a dry surface for the walk. The Bukit leg also leaves time for lunch to run over without pushing the flights toward sunset.
Canggu last. The evening session and dinner are on the ground, so the final flight ends the flying day with a margin of more than an hour before sunset. If a meeting overruns, we cut the Canggu leg and a car takes the last stretch; the helicopter does not fly in the dark.
Everything stays private. We share your plan only with the operator and the people who must clear each landing, and we do not publish client names or itineraries. Invoices are by arrangement: tell us the company name and what the invoice must show, and the terms are settled before your booking is confirmed. A deposit holds the slot; payment details arrive with the quote, and the website takes no payment.

What to Send Before the Business Day
- Stops in order, with map pins. Airports and hotel pads are quick to confirm. Private plots need the owner's consent and can take a week.
- The latest time you must be finished. Flights end by sunset, so tell us the time of the last meeting that needs the helicopter.
- Guest count, rough weights and bags. Weight decides the class, and only soft bags fit in the hold.
- Who waits and for how long. Choose standby on the ground or a fixed return time for each stop.
- Invoice details. Company name, address and what the invoice must show. Terms are agreed before you pay a deposit.
- Operator name and licence number. Many corporate travel policies ask for them; ask with the quote. The safety guide lists what else to ask.
- A car on call. If weather or a volcano alert stops a leg, a car keeps the schedule alive. The pilot decides on the day.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a business day by helicopter cost in Bali?
Hourly charter starts at $2,300 an hour for up to 4 guests and $3,300 an hour for up to 6, plus $300 for each hour the helicopter waits. The three-leg day shown here can also be priced as legs: $1,300, $1,300 and $950.
Is hourly charter or priced legs better for a multi-meeting day?
Hourly charter wins when stops are short and legs are many. Priced legs win when the waits are long, because you do not pay for the helicopter to sit. On a day with about five hours of waiting the two are close, so we price both.
Does the helicopter wait at each stop?
It can, at $300 per hour, or it flies away and returns at a time you fix. The waiting spot must itself be approved. The quote states which option you have and how many waiting hours are included.
Can you invoice a company?
By arrangement. Send the company name and the invoice details, and we agree the terms with you before confirming the date. A deposit holds the slot; the payment details come with the quote.
Can the helicopter land at my meeting venue?
Only at an approved site: an airport, a hotel or venue pad, or private land where the owner agrees and the operator has cleared the landing. Send the venue name and a map pin and we check it first; see landing at a villa or hotel.
What is the latest the helicopter can fly?
Sunset, which is about 18:05 in June and 18:40 in late December. We plan the last landing at least an hour earlier, and after dark a car takes over. The pilot also decides on weather and any volcano alert.
