Landing Near Your Canggu Villa: More Room Than Seminyak, Still Not Automatic
Canggu has something Seminyak lacks: open land. Rice fields run between the villa clusters, and some larger estates sit on plots with a lawn or a flat paddock. That makes an approved landing near your villa more likely than in the dense beach strip.
Two cautions. A planted paddy is a farmer's crop, not a pad, so a field is usable only when the owner agrees and nothing is growing on the spot. And Canggu's narrow lanes carry power and phone lines, which rule out many otherwise flat corners. We look at a satellite image with you, then the operator clears the site; we confirm it before you pay.

When to Fly From Canggu
Mornings between 07:00 and 10:00 are clearest for the volcano, Ubud and the hills. For the coast the last hour before sunset works: the western beaches face the horizon and Tanah Lot sits against the light. Rice paddies change month by month, since neighbouring fields are at different stages. Flooded plots mirror the sky soon after planting and turn gold before harvest.
