Bali Bachelorette and Bachelor Party Helicopter Ideas: Split Four Ways
A helicopter flight is an easy group activity for a bachelorette or bachelor party in Bali. Four friends share one helicopter, so a 12-minute flight costs $115 each and an 18-minute golden-hour flight $190 each. Eight friends use two helicopters at the same per-person price. An 18-minute flight lifts off 20–30 minutes before sunset and lands as the sun goes down. The evening then moves to a beach club that you book yourself. We do not recommend venues by name; pick one near the pad you fly from.
Sunrise or early morning first
From $450
Fly before the party starts. Flights can lift off from sunrise, about 05:50 in December and 06:35 in June, and the clearest air and best light start about 07:00. A morning flight gives an afternoon free for the beach or the pool.
An island day

Fly the cliffs of Nusa Penida in 30 minutes, or hop from Sanur to Nusa Lembongan in 11–15 min, one-way $1,000 for the whole helicopter, and spend the day by the water.

Two 4-seat helicopters fly the same route in the same slot, with four friends in each. Close formation is not promised; it needs the pilots and air traffic control to agree on the day.

Party rules
Party Rules: What Is Not Allowed on the Pad or in the Cabin
- Drinking before the flight. The pilot can refuse any guest who has been drinking. Keep the first glass for the ground.
- Sparkling wine, cups or bottles in the cabin. Corks and open drinks stay out of the aircraft. Bubbles are for the landing site.
- Standing, horseplay or touching the controls. Belts stay on. Doors and windows stay shut from boarding to landing.
- Loose props. Veils, banners, balloons, confetti and inflatables stay on the ground; rotor wash takes them.
- Smoking and vaping. Not on the pad and not in the cabin.
- Walking to the helicopter before the signal. Go together, from the front, when the crew say so.
- Ignoring the pilot. The pilot's instructions are final, and the pilot can end a flight that is unsafe.

Parties bring a lot of things. The helicopter takes very little. The hold is small, so soft bags only, and weight is the limit in Bali heat, so we ask for approximate weights of every friend and bag before we name the aircraft. Our guide on weight limits and baggage shows what to send.
Phones go on wrist straps, because windows stay shut in flight and every photograph is taken through glass. Leave selfie sticks and tripods at the hotel. A deposit holds the slot. Payment details come with the quote. Nothing is paid on this website.
Pick a back-up day
The pilot makes the weather call. If a flight cannot go safely, we move it or refund the part not flown. In the wet season choose the morning; see the wet-season guide.

How many friends can fly together?

What if it rains on the party day?
The pilot decides on the day. We move the flight to the next suitable slot, often the next morning, or refund the part not flown. Keep one spare day in the plan.
